Большая часть сцен фильма была отснята в Атланте, США.

Съемки ленты начались в апреле 2009 года.

Имена главных героев - это названия городов: Таллахасси (Флорида), Вичита (Канзас), Литл-Рок (Арканзас) и Коламбус (Огайо).

Первоначально задумывался как пилотный эпизод нового телесериала, однако впоследствии сценарий был переписан для полнометражного фильма.

На камео актёра из Беверли-Хиллз приглашались Патрик Суэйзи, Джо Пеши, Марк Хэмилл, Дуэйн Джонсон, Кэвин Бейкон, Жан-Клод Ван Дамм и Мэтью МакКонахи.
